Greeters serve once a month on Sunday morning to insure our guests and members are welcomed and informed. Greeters hand out bulletins, provide directional information and offer assistance as needed. A Greeter’s most important task is making certain that we can honestly say NorthRidge is a place Where Friends Become Family. A friendly attitude is all that is required.
Welcome Team members will serve once a month at the Welcome Center Sunday mornings from 10:00am - 12:30pm. The Welcome Team will provide information to new members, gather connect cards, and answer questions about our church.
Café hosts assist with serving Sunday morning refreshments from 8:15-9:30AM. The host assembles the refreshments table and puts the items away once Café time is over. Café is a great time to connect with friends prior to Sunday morning Life Groups. Someone with the gift of hospitality would enjoy this ministry.
Children’s Ministry Hosts are needed during the Kid's Church hour (10:15AM-12:00PM). This volunteer will remain at the front Check-In Desk area in the Community Center to greet and assist families checking kids in as they arrive. A smiling face and minimal computer skills are needed.
Volunteers in Preschool (VIP) serve during the Worship Service (10:30 AM – 12:30 PM) once a month with children ages newborn-4ys. During this time, VIP will review/read the Bible lesson for the day and engage kids in play time either in the classroom or on the playground. Sharing God’s love through serving the children and their families is the key to what we do in preschool ministry.
Kids Church volunteers serve on a rotational basis once a month during the Worship Service (10:30 AM-12:30 PM). Kid’s Church volunteers should be energized with a passion to teach God’s truths in creative ways to elementary aged kids.
